It is highly recommended that a community get an Umbrella. It is the least expensive way to Increase the amount of liability Coverage. Most Umbrellas are for covering over the General Liability for the Community. If the Community has any of the 4 P’s it is a very good idea to carry an Umbrella. The 4 P’s for a Community are Pool, Playground, Pond, and Parks. Also coverage for any Common Areas. These are all high risk or high liability areas.

A properly written Umbrella will also cover over the Stand Alone Directors and Officers Policy. If you are not sure about the Coverage of your Umbrella, Please have a REVIEW done for your Community.
